‘Learn a few tunes’ - when playing on your own, for example, use the repeat button... and ‘practice’ humming and singing a few of the tunes... start with the most obvious like Beethoven’s 5th and 9th Symphonies... Handel’s Messiah!... And remember, you are doing ‘Musical Impressions!’... it doesn’t matter what key you are in or if the notes are exact... make it theatrical, passionate and fun... You may notice that they chime in on the parts that are most fun and emotive!!”
